| SportsLoop hosted its inaugural Invitational Golf Classic to benefit InnerCityGolf on October 7, 2002 at Mission Hills Country Club in Northbrook, Illinois. The event featured a grant presentation from The United States Golf Association, appearances by 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears Otis Wilson and Dave Duerson and concluded with a Monday Night Football party featuring the Bears vs. Packers game. A great time was had by all, and all proceeds raised benefit the continuing efforts of InnerCityGolf and its after-school golf and mentoring program. |
