The 2nd Annual Dolphins Coaches Classic returns to The Don Shula Golf Club and resort in Miami Lakes on February 17, 2003. Celebrity guests include current and former Miami Dolphins' coaches and players.

The NFLCA is grateful to Head Coach Dave Wannstedt and the entire Dolphins Coaching staff for their involvement with the event. The NFLCA would also like to thank Don Shula for his generous support and influence with this event.

One of the goals of the NFLCA is to assist retired NFL Coaches who have not benefited from the recent improvements the NFLCA has achieved for NFL coaches, such as better health care, retirement and insurance benefits. To help those in need, the NFLCA has established the Coaches Assistance Fund to benefit retired NFL coaches in dire need of help with medical and living expenses. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to this 501 (c)(3) charity.
