SportsLoop and InnerCityGolf have teamed up to host the inaugural SportsLoop Invitational Golf Classic to benefit youth served by InnerCityGolf, a 501 [c][3] non-profit organization. The event will be held at Mission Hills Country Club in Northbrook, Illinois on Monday, October 7, 2002 with a shotgun start at 1:00 P.M. The hosts slated include Dave Duerson and Otis Wilson of the 1985 Super Bowl Champion Chicago Bears and WLS-TV Sportscaster Jim Rose.

All proceeds will aid InnerCityGolf in achieving its mission of “providing youth with a caring, adult mentor in an environment that nurtures self-esteem and mutual respect as well as individual and social responsibility.” InnerCityGolf provides inner-city youth with opportunities to learn and grow through the game of golf.
The SportsLoop Invitational Golf Classic will be a memorable close to the Chicago golf season. Spend an enjoyable day on Mission Hills’ private course complete with an 18 hole scramble, lunch, contests, prizes and dinner. The evening will conclude with a Monday Night Football Party featuring our own Chicago Bears taking on the Green Bay Packers. Game time festivities will include prizes, raffles, sports memorabilia auctions, food and drink.
A minimum donation of $125 per individual or $500 per foursome is requested for the full day’s activities, or participants may choose to partake in dinner and the Monday Night Football Party only for a minimum donation of $40 per person. Various levels of sponsorship opportunities are available for the event as well. ALL PROCEEDS from the SportsLoop Invitational Golf Classic will benefit InnerCityGolf. |
