Steven Miller
Steven N. Miller is a principal and co-founder of Origin Ventures, LLC. Prior to co-founding Origin, Steve spent 10 years at Quill Corporation, a direct marketer of office products started by his family in 1956. His experience there included running the Canadian distribution center as well as buying and merchandising a $30 Million product line. Steve's final two years at Quill were devoted to starting up the e-commerce operation. He wrote the business plan for the company's first web site, www.quill.com, and managed the team that executed it to $15 Million in annual revenue. The Miller family sold Quill to Staples in 1998 for over $1 Billion.

Steve sits on the boards of three companies; VideoHomeTours.com, iNest, and AssignmentEditor.com. He is a founding member of Prairie Angels, an action-oriented private group whose goal is to match funding from seed-stage (angel) investors with entrepreneurs in the Midwest. Steve is also an active board member of the not-for-profit organization i.c.stars, which provides inner-city young adults with technology training and leadership development. He is a National Board Member of Boys Hope Girls Hope, an international organization whose mission is to help children who are hurt and at-risk, yet academically capable, to realize their potential by providing value-centered family-like homes and quality education through college. He received a B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1987.

George Simkowski
George is a vice president at SportsLoop and is responsible for developing strategic opportunities and celebrity relationships. He is the founder of "Lets Go Hollywood, Inc.," a marketing company that specializes in the placement of brand name products in major movies and television shows. He also produces national advertising and promotions that are connected to the entertainment industry. George works closely with the Illinois Film Office to help bring motion picture production to the State of Illinois. George has assisted numerous start-up companies in developing and implementing their marketing programs.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, he developed an interest in the movie business after visiting several Hollywood Studios while in California as the starting Center on the 1953 Wisconsin Rose Bowl football team. After meeting several stars, he was convinced he would be involved in this industry at some point in his career.

Following graduation, he served as a Marine Corps officer during the Korean conflict. He began his marketing career as a sales representative, and continued on as Advertising and Sales Promotion Manager, Director of Marketing and, ultimately, President of the Bell & Howell Consumer Products Company. He was responsible for launching the Canon camera line in the USA and Canada and started his own product placement company in 1980. George resides in Chicago with his wife Pat.

David Rosen, Esq.
David J. Rosen is the Executive Vice President of Palestrini Post Production Inc., located in New York City. The company provides creative editorial services, including graphic design, editing, sound mixing and recording and computer-generated special effects, for national television commercials. Palestrini is the largest company of its kind in New York, with clients including such leading advertising agencies as Grey Advertising, Young & Rubicam, Gotham Advertising, Ogilvy & Mather, Foote, Cone & Belding and McCann Erickson. David oversees all business and legal affairs for Palestrini and its affiliates, including equipment acquisition, real estate, financing, employee benefit programs, contract negotiations, and tax planning.

Before joining Palestrini in 1990, David was an attorney in private practice in New York for 18 years. In 1986, he was one of the founders of Reiss & Rosen, a "boutique" law firm which specialized in advertising and communications law. Its clients included advertising agencies, commercial producers and directors, television executives and print media. Prior to that, David was a partner in a large New York firm, where he negotiated numerous promotional agreements relating to professional boxing and television rights agreements for sporting events, feature films and other broadcast properties. He also litigated matters on behalf of professional athletes including George Foreman, Larry Holmes and Roberto Duran.

David holds a BA degree from Columbia College and a JD degree from Columbia University School of Law. He is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association with advanced training as an arbitrator. In that capacity, he has decided many cases involving sports-and media-related issues.

Jordan Sigale, Esq.
Mr. Sigale is partner in the law firm of Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal. He practices in the areas of intellectual property and technology, computer and patent law and is involved in counseling, transactions, litigation and prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark office. He has also practiced in the areas of intellectual property and technology, computer and patent law.

Prosecuted patent applications in the U.S. and abroad in the electrical and mechanical arts including CATV equipment, electronic toys, medical devices, paperboard containers, RF equipment, signal processing software, and telephony related inventions.

Mr. Sigale was admitted to the Bars of the State of Illinois, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Sigale received his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois College of Electrical and Computer Engineering, B.S., 1989, and his J.D., magna cum laude in 1992 from the University of Illinois College of Law.

Howard S. Brown
Mr. Brown has a successful track record within the Internet / software technology marketplace and the organized Jewish Community. He offers strong leadership, an entrepreneurial vision and outstanding performance through hard work, teamwork, positive attitude to succeed and problem solve. Howard received his Bachelor of Science in Business degree from Babson College, Wellesley, MA.

Howard is the Co-founder of PlanitJewish.com is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to advancing participation, membership and volunteerism in local Jewish communities by providing access to comprehensive local and national Jewish event programming. PlanitJewish.com lists hundreds of Jewish organizations and thousands of their corresponding Jewish events and volunteer opportunities monthly on its 'Where To Go?, What To Do?, Find It Here!' website service.

Prior to launching PlanitJewish, Howard was the Western US, Area Vice President for NaviSite Inc. San Jose, CA. He also has strong experience in technology and sales as Vice President of Sales at Liquid Audio, as Manager of Broadcast Sales at Avid Technology - Burbank, CA and as Sales Manager NCR/AT&T Corporation - Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA.

Howard has always been involved in philanthropic and community activities. Among his endeavors have been the San Francisco Jewish Community Federation Board of Directors, UJC National Young Leadership Cabinet and Wexner Heritage Foundation.

Bruce Greenberg
Bruce is SportsLoop's Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for the financial management of the company. He works with the bank, investors and senior management to direct the company's growth, increase its profitability and negotiate financing. Bruce assists our clients in implementing their financial strategies.

Bruce has served as CFO for a number of privately held companies and has more than 20 years of senior financial management experience in a variety of industries. He specializes in taking companies from start-up to maturity with a specific focus on handling the cash flow and financing needs of these new businesses. These companies have ranged in size from $5 million of revenue per year to over $100 million. In his capacity as CFO with such companies, Bruce has managed growth from $40,000 per month in gross revenue to $1.3 million per month in gross revenue within a one year period; successfully increased a company's valuation over a 2 year period from $3 million to its sale price of $20 million; and was a founder of a company that reached $900,000 per month in sales within less than a year.

Bruce currently serves on several boards and acts as a consultant to many organizations in the health care industry. He holds degrees in accounting, economics, and finance, as well as a Masters in Business Administration. Bruce also consults in the areas of organizational development, operational efficiency, human resources and overall financial management. Bruce is a long-time sports enthusiast as both a participant and fan. Bruce lives with his wife Micki, and his children Joshua, Samantha, Aaron, Danny and Alex.
