 Jewish Sports Foundation

Marketing / Event Internship

 

 

Starting Date: Immediately, 7-10 hours per week

Remote work- (preferably metro Chicago location for weekly meetings but not required)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Raffles and fundraisers

  • Event management and logistics

  • Curriculum development for seminars and webinars

  • Jewish Sports Weekends, including Hillel and youth group follow-ups

  • Jewish Sports Festival

  • Jewish Sports Awards, including nominations, bios, committee and newsletter

  • Assist with research necessary to implement above items

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule

  • Scanning capabilities

  • Internet access

  • Knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Sports industry (desired, but not required)

  • Personal traits desired:

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision

    • Reliable (must be able to dedicate 7-10 hours a week, possibly more if needed)

    • Creative

    • Organized

Social Media / PR Internship

  • Maintaining JSF social media presence

  • Updating content for JSF website and blog

  • Drafting newsletters and press releases

  • Management of mailing list

  • Creation of PPT presentations

 Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule

  • Scanning capabilities

  • Internet access

  • Knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    • Social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)

    • Word Press Blog software

    • Sports industry (desired, but not required)

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision

    • Reliable (must be able to dedicate 7-10 hours a week, possibly more if needed)

  • Develop and implement social media strategy
  • Develop subscriber acquisition strategies

  • Update and research articles for From The Bench Blog

  • Creation of PPT presentations for educational programs

  • Creation of content for FTB website

  • Research partnership opportunities

  • Assist with implementation of advertising and business development

  • Establish and manage outreach programs with law schools and law journals


Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule

  • Scanning capabilities

  • Internet access

  • Knowledge of:

    • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Internship Opportunity

 

Starting Date: Immediately,  7-10 hours per week
Remote work - (prefer metro Chicago location for weekly meetings but not required)

 

  Responsibilities:

  • Assist with registration for events

  • Identify and recruiting host high schools for meetings

  • Maintain list of high school coaches in Chicagoland

  • Assist with strategic partnerships with physicians and retired NFL players

  • Create sponsorship packages

  • Conduct research to support sponsorship and program activities

  • Creation of PPT presentations
